Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet by our representative with warm welcome then transferred to Hotel. At evening, short briefing program on tour by our tour manager and dinner.

Day 02 : Kathmandu City Tour & Fly to Nepalgunj

Breakfast in the hotel. And go for sightseeing visit of Pashupatinath temple & Budhanilkantha Vishnu temple (sleeping Vishnu).

Afternoon: After lunch, transfer to domestic airport for your flight to Nepalgunj. Our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Reach in the hotel and refresh. In the evening, our tour manager will brief you shortly about trip program. Today you have rest & relax day in Nepalgunj. Dinner in the hotel.

Kathmandu to Nepalgunj: 1 hour flight by aircraft

Day 3 Fly to Simikot (by aircraft) & to Hilsa (by helicopter) then drive to Taklakot

Very early morning, you should be ready to go to the airport for your flight to Simikot. Normally, the flight leaves for Simikot at around 6.00 am, if there is a clear weather in all places (Nepalgunj, en route and Simikot). Delay by an hour OR two is quite normal in this sector. So, passengers are requested not be panic.The flight requires about an hour to reach Simikot. Our representative in Simikot will assist for completing immigration formalities then assist to arrange charter helicopter to fly Hilsa (Nepal border). Upon arrival in Hilsa, our local representative in Hilsa will receive you and escorted to guesthouse or teashop. Here, you have to halt until all group members arrive. Travelers are requested to have patient and let us arrange everything smoothly because we have to wait our Tibetan guide to come border to receive us along with all permit and military formalities which may takes few times. Then after we cross border to Tibet and it takes about an hour to reach Taklakot (Purang - 3700 m.) by drive from Sher (China border). There will be quick security check-in formalities in border and upon reach in Purangtown, you should go through custom office for further immigration formalities.

You will be check into hotel at Purang assist by our tour leader & Tibetan guide. Before room check-in, you will have lunch ready at dining hall prepare by our Nepali team. After lunch, you can check into room and take rest. Similarly by evening, you will be serve tea/coffee, snacks and dinner.

Nepalgunj to Simikot: 1 hour (by Twin otter aircraft OR Dornier aircraft with 16 seats)

If the weather is not good in Simikot OR en route to Simikot, the flight will be canceled and need to stay back in Nepalgunj for next day retry.

Simikot to Hilsa: 15 minutes by B2 (Euro copter) Helicopter with 5 - 6 seats

Hilsa to Sher trek: 10 minutes

Sher to Taklakot drive: 1 hour by bus

Day 4 Acclimatization Day

Today you will rest in Taklakot (Purang) for acclimatization with light walking around Taklakot town to adjust your body with Tibet climate. If you have anything remain to purchase for Kailash trekking then you can check those list and buy here from local shop. Meals will serve as per time table given by our leader.

Day 5 Drive, Purang to Lake Manasarovar (Chiu Gompa) – 4560 m

Early morning, you will have breakfast and our support team will pack up all kitchen and food logistics to head next destination. Our Tibetan guide will finish immigration procedure and manage security personnel at soonest in the morning then proceed to our most eternal destination - Lake Manasarovar (4560 m- Chui Gompa). On the way, we will take a short break in RakshasTaal (Lake Ravana) to see the breathtaking views of RakshasTaal with back ground view of holy mount Kailash. Today you will go for complete parikrama of Lake Manasarovar. While driving around Lake, Pilgrims will take short halt at good place of lake-shore where you will take holy bath and perform puja/homage to Mt. Kailash & Manasarovar as per your own religious way in Lake Manasarovar.

Taklakot to Lake Manasarovar drive: 2 hours

The distance of Manasarovar circumambulation: 72 km / 3 hrs

Day 6 Yama Dwar Darshan then start trek to Diraphuk (4920 m)

Morning after breakfast around 8 am, drive to Darchen, here the bus will make stopover for 15 min in order to complete some police check in formalities and at the same time you will be given free time to buy sticks, raincoat, water bottle, or any other essential things that require during trekking period. Then we will move forward to Yama Dwar (OR Sherson or Tarboche/ 4750m), the auspicious gateway to the Parikrama (circuit) around the Mt. Kailash.

Yama Dwar is the place, from where the groups have wonderful view of south face of Mt. Kailash very closely and normally, they split in two parts. Some members will start attempting Parikrama and some will return back to Darchen and wait for those members who have gone for Parikrama. Also, here all yaks, horses & porters will gather for Parikrama. One can blessed with ultimate darshan of Mt. Kailash south face from Yamadwar. The pilgrims who are unable to make Kora of Mt. Kailash will pray and make thrice circular of Yamadwar in the name of Lord Shiva &Parbati and return to Darchen waiting for other trekkers till 3rd day.

For Trekkers going Kora will begin after Yamadwar& Kailash darshan by walk or riding horse. Horse will be available on pre-booking and horse riders will choose their horse & horseman by picking up coupon name which should not be lost until the service end. Today the trekking is moderate follow by quite easy & flat trails with short mild ascent in between route. The trail will follow alongside the glacier river and even we cross the river (low flow) a couple of times. You will also have chance to see west face of Kailash and different image form in rocks like Ganesh, mouse, elephant, family of Lord Shiva etc. You will get experience of different religions & typical Tibetan nomads’ lifestyle on the way, while you will meet several trekkers, Hindu pilgrims, Tibetan &Bonpos devotees. Roughly, you will be crossing 14 km today and it takes around 5 to 6 hours. On the mid way, we will halt for a while at tea shop for pack lunch. Then continue slight uphill trek to Diraphuk camp with stunning glimpse of north face of Mt. Kailash.Also, those trekkers or pilgrims who reach camp earlier and fit by health may also go further walk to uphill for CharanSparsh from camp if army permits.

Lake Manasarovar to Darchen – 45 minutes drive

Darchen to Yama Dwar: 30 minutes drive

Yama Dwar to Diraphuk trek: 5 hrs (approximately 14 km)

Day 7 Trek to Zuthulphuk (4780 m) via Dolma La Pass (5600 m)

This is the toughest day of parikrama. You have to wake up 4 am early in the morning and start trek by 5 am without forgetting to carry pack lunch. The journey right from the beginning starts going uphill till to Dolma-La (5600 m) about 4-5 hours then continue descending to the flat valley region, the other side of Dolma-la pass. You will find Shivasthal at Dolma la covered by prayer flags and different offers by prayers like clothings& ornaments.

Descending steep down from high pass, you will be lucky to sight beautiful holy lake – GauriKunda at the right side underneath of hill. This is the lake, people believe, where Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva takes bath. After continue sloping down, you will cross short glacier path and then will find tea shop for lunch break at plain valley. Then after continue easy walk on flat trail but tedious with feel of similar landscape around and never ending. The last leg of the journey is along with the River Bank, up to Zuthulphuk. The high light of the day are Shivasthal, Dolma-La and GauriKunda which are on the way.

Diraphuk to ZuthulphukGomba: 22km / 8 to 9 hours trek (approximately)

Day 8 Finish Trek near Darchen, drive back to Purang& Exit Hilsa

Today, the trail is easy & flat, so you will complete the journey within 1.5 hours. We will be picked up at the ending point near Darchen by our vehicle, then transferred tohotel at Darchen (15 min drive). Here we will meet with all rest group members then drive your return journey towards Purang / Taklakot. You will be given pack lunch then go for immigration in Taklakot. Guide will assist us to drive down to Sher border accompany by Military officer and see off us all to exit Hilsa. After customs formalities, you will move down to Hilsa (Nepal Border) by crossing Suspension bridge of Karnali River. Upon arrival in Hilsa, you will have to keep patience with rest in Hilsa guesthousefor a while. You will be called for helicopter flight once our representative confirms the schedule. The helicopter will be shortly arrives and our Hilsa representative will assist you to board in Helicopter for flight to Simikot. Stay overnight at Simikot as per itinerary.

However, if the situation is beyond our control due to weather conditions and rush of tourists then we may also stay halt in Hilsa guesthouse and next day we will continue our flight to Simikot&Nepalgunj continuously. Also, if the weather conditions and flight schedule favor us and reached Simikot in time and again possible to fly from Simikot to Nepalgunj, then we will continue our flight further to Nepalgunj as well. If there is still any passengers remain in Simikot, we will request to keep patience for all rest members as we will continue our flight on next day from early morning to keep our program as per schedule.

Zuthulphuk to trek ending point: 1.5 hours walk - 08 km (approx.)

Trek ending point to Taklakot: 2 hours drive by Bus

Taklakot to Sher drive: 1 hr

Sher to Hilsa trek: 10 min

Hilsa to Simikot: 15 minutes flight by Helicopter

Day 9 Fly, Simikot– Nepalgunj (fixed wing aircraft)& drive to Lucknow

In an early morning, take breakfast and be ready for domestic flight to Nepalgunj from Simikot. Similarly, you will receive by our Nepalgunj representative and will transfer to previous hotel in Nepalgunj. You collect your store luggage from the hotel and then straight away, you will be driving to Lucknow at airport/ train station or hotel.

Simikot to Nepalgunj: 1 hour by flight

Nepalgunj to Lucknow: 4 - 5 hours drive (by Jeep or Tempo Traveler)
