Day 1 HA NOI ARRIVAL
Welcome to Hanoi – your guide and driver will meet you just outside the exit gates and
assist with your luggage. Depending on your arrival time we will either transfer you to your
hotel for check in at 2:00pm (early check in subject to available upon check in)
In the afternoon, first you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside) and Museum to
explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Next door to
here is the One Pillar Pagoda (Mot Cot) which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049.
According to legend, the pagoda’s shape was inspired by the lotus flower and this structure
has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. The tour continues with a visit to
the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam. Being Vietnam’s first university, the place was
initially constructed in 1070, their gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing
glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Then continue passed The Opera House to the wonderful Hoan
Kiem Lake and walk across the famous red wooden bridge to visit Ngoc Son Temple set on
a tiny island. This is the perfect opportunity for a memorable photograph. Overnight in Ha
Noi city.
Day 2 HANOI – HA LONG by shuttle bus (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. 07:15am You will go to our office in old quarter and then join other
passengers on a pleasant overland journey to Ha Long Bay (around 3.5 hours) by shuttle
bus. On arrival of Ha Long, boarding and the cruise starts with lunch served. Overnight: On
board the junk in Ha Long Bay.
Day 3 HA LONG – HANOI by shuttle bus (Brunch/-)
The morning starts by an early Tai Chi exercise on the upper deck of the junk, followed by a
light breakfast. The cruise continues at the same time when brunch is served. After brunch,
disembarkation then return transfer to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4 HA NOI – CAO BANG (Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel, tour guide and car pick you up at the hotel. 08:00am you will leave
Hanoi capital driving along spectacular mountain roads to Cao Bang to explore the pristine
nature and revolution land. Belong the way you can enjoy a spectacular views of lush
valleys, village hamlets and distant mountains. Upon reaching Cao Bang, hotel check-in
after 2:00pm Lunch and dinner at guest own arrangement. Approx: 390km / 8 hour driving
(not including lunch time, break time, sightseeing time) Overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 5 BAN GIOC WATERFALL – NGUOM NGAO CAVE SIGHTSEEING (Breakfast)
After a breakfast we set off to see more in Cao Bang…
First you will visit Ban Gioc Waterfalls - one of Vietnam’s most impressive natural sights.
Located in the northeastern province of Cao Bang, the falls are 30 metres high and 300
metres across, making Ban Gioc the widest (but not the highest) waterfall in the country. The
falls occur on the Quay Son River, a beautiful jade-blue body of water flowing from China
through a pastoral landscape of rice fields and bamboo groves surrounded by limestone
pinnacles.
Next door to here is Nguom Ngao cave - an astonishing cave with stalactites of various
shapes, is the most famous limestone grotto in the northern mountain province of Cao Bang
thanks to its uniqueness and size. Visiting the cave, you will be captivated by its wild beauty.
The tour continues with a visit to Phat Tich Truc Lam temple. The pagoda was built in the
style of pure Vietnam architecture, including: three-door gate, bell tower, drum, and tam Bao,
church worship, model church, temples of national heroes, Nam Viet Hung Vuong Kings,
guest houses and auxiliary landscape items. Lunch and dinner at guest own arrangement.
Overnight at Cao Bang.
Day 6 CAO BANG - HANOI (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel. Collection from your hotel will be at 8:00am and the transfer to Hanoi will
take approximately 8 hours
Arrival on Hanoi city, you will check back into your hotel after 02:00pm.
Lunch and dinner at guest own arrangement. Overnight in Ha Noi city.
Day 7 HA NOI - DEPARTURE (Breakfast)
Breakfast boxes will be arranged by hotel.
08:00am your driver will meet you to assist with luggage and take you to the airport for your
departure flight.
